Vincent feels privileged to live in Los Alamos where he owns a home in Hawks Landing on the North Mesa. Vincent has served for the past two years as the president of the Hawks Landing Homeowners Association.
A native of New Jersey, Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree, a Master of Arts in Engineering degree, and a Ph.D. degree all in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, which he received in 1996, 1999, and 2003 respectively. As part of this Ph.D. thesis work Vincent built a satellite propulsion system similar to an ion engine of the Star Trek variety and used laser diagnostics and computer simulations to quantify in detail the operation of his engine. After finishing his studies he moved to Los Alamos in 2003 to become a Technical Staff Member in the Applied Physics Division (X).
Vincent is active member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, where he serves as a lector. In his free time Vincent is an avid runner, and he can be seen quite often running along Diamond Drive. Last fall he participated as part of a relay team in the Duke City Marathon in Albuquerque.
